► Mosaics and Pots Ages 9-12
MOSAICS ~ Learn how to make mosaics this summer at art camp! Explore the world of Mosaic art form while discovering the history of mosaic through the ancient Greeks, Romans and Aztecs!    Students will be introduced to technique, tools and supplies used to make mosaic garden stepping stones and decorative picture frames.
POTS ~ Learn to construct vessels/pots of out clay using the hand technique coiling.  Discover the important role that vessels and pots played during ancient Greek era.  Students will also look at ancient vessels and pots and learn how to decorate their artwork similar to the Greek style.
