A delightful way to introduce the young child to music fundamentals with a keyboard emphasis. This camp addresses rhythm, notation, music appreciation, listening, and tracking skills through songs, games, movement and group participation. If you are considering piano for your Kindergartener in the fall, this class is strongly recommended as a way to evaluate your child's interest and readiness. Student needs access to a piano or a keyboard for home practice while enrolled in this camp.

Not
sure if your child is ready to take piano lessons? This six-lesson
"sampler" camp allows students to explore the piano through guided
instruction in playing, music reading, and technique while having fun.
Parents are invited to attend a "mini-concert" at the end of the last class.
If you are considering piano for your child in the fall, this class is
strongly recommended to evaluate your child's interest and readiness.
