One of the most important things your child will learn at Cy-Fair Music and Arts is the fundamentals of drawing. There are two types: 2D and 3D. So, what’s the difference? Learning how to use two dimensional elements will teach your child the necessary components of art. Line, shape, value, composition, and perspective. Examples of 2D drawing include still life and portraiture on a flat surface. When they master those tools, we graduate to 3D drawing. This form of drawing brings your art to life by giving the illusion of height, volume, and depth. 3D drawing includes buildings, angles and other optical illusions.
