Guitar Teacher
Stan A.

Growing up in Louisiana, Stan’s earliest musical influence was singing and playing in his father's church choir. From those southern roots, he went on to perform, tour, and record with well-known Contemporary Christian and Country music artists in Nashville, Tennessee. With a busy touring and concert schedule, Stan has performed in all 48 contiguous United States, and across Canada and Europe. He also served as music director for churches in Texas, Louisiana, and California.

Stan graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music and a minor in Music Business. He also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Fort Worth, Texas, where he worked on a Master of Arts in Communications, and the University of Louisiana, in Monroe, Louisiana, where he worked on a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance.

Stan teaches guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals, music theory for songwriters, and the Nashville Number System. His students have come from a wide variety of backgrounds including first-timers, homeschoolers and students of all ages, CEOs, engineers, pro football players, chefs, active and veteran military, professors, policemen, busy moms, retired folks, and even a rocket scientist! Stan’s goal in teaching is turning "That looks too hard!" into "This isn't as hard as it looks!"
