Anton I.

Anton Igubnov is an award-winning, internationally renowned pianist trained in the prestigious Russian tradition. He received his formal training at the Chopin Moscow State College of Music Arts (2004 to 2008), and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (2008 to 2013), where he ultimately graduated with a Ph.D. degree. 

Dr. Igubnov subsequently served as piano faculty at the Popov Choir Art Academy; the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory; and Sakuyo University (Kurashiki, Japan), before moving to the US. 

Anton has won major prizes and awards at international piano competitions, including The 13th International Edward Grieg piano Competition (Bergen, Norway) in 2012; The 2nd China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition (Shenzhen, China) in 2011; Brahms International Competition (Portschach, Austria) in 2010; and The Tchaikovsky V International Competition for Young Musicians (Kurashiki, Japan) in 2004.
