Kevin has maintained a full studio of private students for over 25 years, teaching piano, theory, composition and jazz. His private students regularly place in local contests and score high marks in TMTA examinations. A long time member of Cypress Creek Music Teachers Association (CCMTA), he recently completed his term serving as president and currently serves as webmaster of the CCMTA website. In addition, he has taught piano, theory and ear training at San Jacinto College and Lone Star College. Always interested in making learning more effective and enjoyable for his students, he is currently preparing for publication a piano method which aims to draw together some of the best ideas and methods of the past century and the natural learning abilities with which children are born.
