Born and raised in the Houston area Gerardo began learning and playing violin in 2008. Since then he has graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a minor in Music Education, under the guidance of his private lesson teacher Dr. Pinell.

While at SHSU he was involved in the Huntsville Youth Orchestra, which was created to fill the need for an orchestra program in Walker County. Under the guidance of Dr. Gjevre, Gerardo taught students with varying levels of violin proficiency from beginner to high school level.  

Gerardo’s goal is to continue to help and develop young and experienced violinists to continue to grow through private lessons and classes and share his love for the violin.
