Dylan H.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dylan has been engaged in music since 2009, when he first took up the viola. Since then, he has graduated from Baylor University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he studied as a performer. During that time, he learned injury prevention, in-depth methods of practice, audition preparation, and the art of developing a musical experience for an audience.
For years, Dylan has been engaged in freelancing, and has had the opportunity to play with symphonies like the Waco Symphony and the Symphony of Southeast Texas. Additionally, he has performed with the Brevard Music Festival in Brevard, North Carolina. Since 2019, he has also had the pleasure of instructing students of all ages and skill levels.
As a teacher, Dylan has a direct focus on developing advanced and independent problem-solving skills in his students for use in both the practice room and the wider world. He likewise focuses on cultivating his students' comfort in playing, and helps to craft a unique musical expression that can be tailored to each individual.
