Sara A.S.

Sara, who holds a Master of Music Degree, is currently working on her Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Pedagogy at Texas Tech University, while serving as TTU MTNA Chair of Communications and TTU Newsletter Editor. Ms. Sara develops her career both as teacher and performer, in the U.S. and her home country Argentina. She has been teaching piano and music appreciation for over a decade, obtaining great results and recognition from her colleagues and students. Her vast teaching experience includes students of all backgrounds, ages and levels, starting from early childhood beginners to advanced college students. As a concert pianist, she has offered public performances in Argentina, US and Germany. 

Her teaching approaches are characteristic for being creative and innovative, integrating pedagogical strategies that facilitate effective and enjoyable learning experiences.

Currently, she is developing new pedagogical methods for preschoolers’ piano lessons, incorporating body-percussion and singing/reciting strategies to enhance their learning outcomes while enjoying the process.

Parallel to her teaching career, Sara continues to develop as a piano performer internationally.

She is looking forward to welcome all her new CFMA students and guide them on a wonderful learning journey!
